Thank you for your tireless efforts in opening international opportunities for us, the young faculty members of NVSU. Your leadership continually inspires us to pursue growth not only here in the Philippines but also beyond our borders.

On September 6, we had the privilege of meeting H.E. Ambassador Endo Kazuya of Japan to the Philippines during the Fall Semester 2025 MEXT Scholars’ Send-Off Reception. We are deeply grateful for this meaningful experience, made possible through the path you have paved for us.

I am also inspired by the stories you shared from your PhD journey in Japan, particularly about bringing coffee from the Philippines as a gift to your sensei. In the same spirit, we brought with us local Arabica and Robusta coffee from Ambaguio as a gift to the Ambassador, something that, among all representatives present, only NVSU was able to offer that day.

This experience is a testament to your example and vision, which continue to guide us in every step of our journey.

This has been my mantra since I left my previous job. Indeed, I have seen and felt the reason why the universe led me to #MahalKongNVSU.

As an alumnus of this university, I can attest to the tangible transformation it has undergone since you took the helm, even if I wasn’t here yet at that time.

Stepping back inside the wide grounds of NVSU, I have witnessed the changes and wanted to be part of something bigger. I sang "Que sera, sera" while preparing my application documents. "Whatever will be, will be," I reminded myself after the interview.

When I got in, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t even believe it at the time. It has been a year since that day, and it is true: #KaySarapMagingTagaNVSU.

However, none of this would have been possible without your transformative leadership, sir. So, I would like to sincerely thank you!
