After twelve winter of attacks, a hero was called to action. Beowulf, being the strongest human anywhere on earth, sought to defeated the threat of Grendel. Beowulf attacked Grendel with a small army of men by his side. After discovering Grendel was immune to human weapons, Beowulf fought the slithering creature from the deep. She stole Grendel's arm back. Upset, Beowulf ventured to Grendel's mother's layer. The underwater battlefield was filled with flames and other creatures. With a human forged sward, Beowulf had a difficult time fighting Mother due to her immunity to human weapons. After discovering her immunity, Beowulf began fighting with his hands, but made little progress. Be saw a sword, hanging on the wall. A sword forged by giants, unable to be lifted by man, was lifted, by Beowulf. He swung the sword, and sliced the neck of the water witch. Her blood boiled as it spewed from her neck, melting the blade of the sward leaving small reminisce of the weapon left. He saw Grendel, dying in the corner. With the blade, Beowulf sliced the head of Grendel, and robbed the trophy for himself.
