Older people do take longer to get over an illness, their bodies are more delicate and aren't as strong as those of the youth. Being older, means they are more wise because they have seen and experienced much more in life and know what is right/wrong and so on. Most older people don't respect the privacy of other's, they give advice no matter what even if it isn't their place. Older people need their peace and quiet and should be kept in a neighborhood with less children/youth.Older people DO NOT adapt well to new things/changes. The elderly always misplaces things. Older people are harder to read and half the time you can't put your finger on it as to why. Their vocabulary is much greater than those of youth. They are indeed relaxing and fun to be with, and if you enjoy history you can normally gain a lot from them. Typically older people tend to live in neighborhoods with more older people in it, to settle for the rest of their life. They do have politics and business in their favor because they typically know people in those authoritative positions holding power. They do not like change, especially forced/demanded change where they have no choice, but to adapt. Most old people don't like to quit and rely on others, they push themselves until they have to quit. They do have a lot of trouble concentrating and remembering things. Older works do not have a higher rate of absenteeism, they are present when expected and normally earlier. Older people do tend to get occupational diseases more than those of the youth. Older people are okay at remembering names.

I absolutely practice ageism and fully respect the elderly. I have been truly blessed to have both maternal grandparents involved in my life that are currently still alive. Unfortunately, my grandmother has cancer, but I'm blessed with every second I have with her. Everything I included in my summary based on the questions is something I have experienced or seen in both of them before. Older people and great people. They're much more cooler than a history book because they make you feel like you're right their in their stories and they're very wise. I think more of the youth should respect and practice ageism.
