Sort the exit tickets into piles: they get it, kind of get it, and don't get it all. The size of the piles will tell you what you need to do next. This would be a formal assessment of if a student has grasped the topic, and will give them a chance to select whether or not they comprehend the topic. Students will be able to use this as an opportunity to let the teacher know what they may or may not have understood, allowing us as teachers to restructure future lesson plans. This would be a qualitative data collection because it allows teacher to see where the student believes they are without being graded on specific data questions.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
