I'm not sure what happened to the first post (maybe I just can't see it?) and I think I accidentally deleted the second. I haven't felt this technologically challenged in a while. Anyway. Some things I'd like to note:

• Week 7 is a model for how I'd like the course to be organized, I haven't had the chance to discuss it with the instructor yet. 
• Items marked *NEW* are ones I've created. Points and whatnot TBD.
• Items marked *EDITED* are ones I've changed significantly. 
• I've edited discussion boards for format and clarity, but not necessarily for content. That might need to be done at some point. I'm waiting to do all of this to the Summary Assignments until I know if they'll be staying. 
• The gradebook is mostly organized, except for afore-mentioned Summary Assignments. 
• I'm in the process of adding links previously only found in assignments and discussions to the resources section of each week. 
• I'm in the process of converting .ppt slides to H5P presentations so people don't have to download the files.

I will share a screenshot of one of the Overview pages that I finished building this week. I customized the overview banner image to match the course topic (companion animal production systems). There are still a few things to work out, so there is some placeholder text ("dog textbook," for example) until I hear more from the instructor. I have also tried to give time estimates for the tasks listed for this week so that students can plan ahead.

I have spent the majority of this week trying to figure out how I'm going to tie the course elements together since my class is going to be a series of module that students can work through at their own pace (and are optional/ungraded). I still want to improve the stacking of the buttons I created on the home menu, but I need to play with the html a little more to figure this out. I have found all the icons I'm going to use to tie in the buttons/banners/course elements. I also linked my Syllabus and Start Here instructions to the home page for easier access. I'm planning to replace the Powtoon welcome video on my home page with a more personal self-recorded video.
