1. What could the learning space look like? Consider natural light, where you would position windows, doors, etc.

-Not too much light, or too much noise
-The windows must be at the height of kids so they can have chances to observe outside but we must have courtains at the windows for having limits to stimuli when it is needed.
-The material environment must be firm
-Let some children in all the skills more in the upright than in the seated position. Some children are more functional upright.
And why not let them work on the floor or face? We can also put plastic mats around the chairs legs to promote a sensory intake that will help the child stay more seated if the work on the table takes some time. Often pillows help children sit longer. They allow a swim amount that is positively replenishing.
--Change the part that we often work on. Why is there a compulsory part of the circle? Promote activities that do something different every 10-15 minutes at a different level.
-We will not limit the teaching space to a table or area. Kids were created to learn in space, not just at the table. We will integrate space activities into learning. Helps all children get more involved.
-A "safe place" in the room is a perfect tool for the student who experiences anxiety overreaction.
The photo is from:Teaching Special Thinkers
But kids in kindergarten have the same needs and need support in order to develop skills so the classrooms in kindergarten covers all kids needs.
