I read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school and it is still one of my favorite books so i decided it is finally time for me to read Lee's next book.

My favorite children's book, as a child was Go, Dog, Go by P. D. Eastman. Now as an adult, after being a nanny and working in a daycare for a few years, my favorite book is Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry G. I was offered a class that allowed me to go to one of the elementary schools in my town, and help out in the classroom. I was assigned to a 1^st grade class of about 15 kids. I was given the task of correcting their math homework and helping them to understand why they made mistakes. I also listened to them read and watching them improve was very rewarding.
