Increase in global temperatures are largely caused by human activities which emit greenhouse gases such as CH4 and CO2. Due to increasing temperatures, animals may have to migrate towards the poles of the earth in order to continue living in a region with temperatures they survive best in. The life spans and metabolic rates of insects change according to environment.
