Before I read this book, I was in the midst of numerous existential crises that had led me to inquire towards larger questions - is there a God? Is there an afterlife? How much wood could a woodchuck really chuck? This book solved everything for me. I got a job immediately after reading, found enlightenment in the understanding that though nothing lasts forever, there is beauty in the moments that are shared between us as humans, and it all started with the masterwork and beautiful character arc that encompasses Harold and the Purple Crayon. I empathise with the purple crayon and feel for Harold throughout his narrative of character growth. This book is what convinced me to keep living in these treacherous times, and I hope that this book is recognized for the literary masterwork it is.

There are a few big or confusing words in this book, but I am going to reccomend it anyway. It explains the science behind the plot perfectly, and convinces you that it could be happening under your feet at this very moment. It brings prehistoric ideas as well as creatures to life in a way that has never been done beafore. I am not sure if fantasy is the only category it would fall under but it is the category that incorporates the most of its ideas.

The Hunger Games is a violently outstanding book that describes a prediction of what the future of humanity may fall to if we direct ourselves to the path. This book is amazing and, if you like violent and graphic books, I recommend you read this and its other books if you haven't, and also maybe watch the movies too!
