Particularly those honoring Confederate leaders connected with slavery wanting to be removed or destroyed because of the pain, suffering or oppression they represent.
Before only around 1/3 of the people wanted the monuments taken down now it is up to over 1/2. Some believe that they should be not taken down but placed into a museum.
