i was very shy during my days in grade school. i didn't have that much friends.

i would always be sitting somewhere playing games on my gadgets.

i never really liked outdoor games and sports.

moving onto high school, i was still quiet and very reserved. socializing with others was a scary thing for me.

i somehow learned to loosen up a little bit. i became much comfortable being with other people.

i participated in dance competitions in my school. but i didn't volunteer. i was just chosen because i knew how to dance.

when it was almost the end of my second year, my parents told me that they want me to transfer schools.

i didn't wanted to transfer because i made a lot of friends during my second year.

i told my friends about it and they were saddened. they didn't want me to transfer just as much as i do

one of my classmates and friends who was part of our school's student council had an idea. she told me to run for student council and try to convince my parents about it so that i won't have to transfer.

i told my parents that i'll be running for student council and i made a deal with them that if i win, i won't transfer.

my parents agreed to the deal.

eventually, i won the elections and i got to stay at my school. :)

during my time being part of the student council. i met a lot of new people, learned a lot of new things, and gained a lot of new friends.

i became very active in school. i participated in a lot of things:

i joined our school's dance troupe.

i became our school paper's official photographer and layout designer. we competed and won until divisions.

i earned a lot from being part of the student council. my self-confidence skyrocketed, my self-esteem improved dramatically, my social skills got better. i don't think i would be the loud, approachable, and friendly person i am now without that part of my life.

i eventually transferred in senior high school to iacademy to pursue my dreams in life. it took a lot of courage to make the decision to transfer but i did it for my sake. all the values i've learned back then are always with me and i still benefit from them up to this day.

i have a lot of friends that are always there for me and i don't know what i would do without them. :)
