         <description><![CDATA[<div>Prosocial behavior can be seen in many groups of species, including rats and ants. Prosocial behavior can be identified as an action that causes little to no benefit to the individual organism. Instead, it is done for the convenience or well-being of the entire group/population.  These actions also cause little to no effort from the individual who conducts it, yet still provides great reward to the rest of the group.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This behavior has become an adaptation over time that is only recognized in social groups. Prosocial behavior is an adaptation because it ensures the survival of many without excess effort from the organism with the trait. Prosocial behavior can be recognized in humans as emotions of empathy, selflessness, and gratitude. It is a sign of evolution through adaptation, since prosocial behavior encourages longer lifespans and more offspring.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the benefits of social behavior can range from individual gratitude to group-wide advantages that allow them to grow as a whole. Since each individual has slightly different DNA, they could have different ways in aiding their peers and defending themselves. This can be applied to every social group, ranging from wolves to birds. For example, some groups of animals have chains of command based on which animal is most "fit"; this animal leads all the others to ensure their survival. Other groups may all have equal roles and coordinated actions so that the majority benefits.</div>]]></description>
