Whole Brain Teaching is an interactive teaching style. In my opinion, it's best used with elementary students but can be used in other classroom settings as well. This teacher does a really good job with the whole brain teaching techniques, such as having the students teach each other, showing each other with gestures, etc.

This teacher uses a great strategy called, "My favorite No."
1. The teacher writes a bellringer on the board.
2. The teacher passes around note cards to each of the students and instructs the students to solve the problem.
3. The teacher gives the students time to solve the problem and then collects the note cards.
4. The teacher quickly goes through the answers and picks the favorite wrong answer.
5. The teacher and class analyzes what went wrong together.

I really like this strategy, however, I'm afraid that it might negatively effect some students' self esteem. Therefore, I think I would go over the problem the next day, so the student might forget if the answer he or she got was incorrect.
