It resulted in the loss of 146 garment workers. The building consisted of flammable textiles throughout the floors of the building. Many were unable to escape due to the doors being locked to prevent stealing. The fire ladders were not able to reach the top floors. This fire brought the attention to the unsafe working condition many workers face. As a result of this, the Ladies' Garment Workers Union began advocating reforms to improve working conditions. All of this eventually led to new safety regulations like mandatory fire drills, sprinkler systems, regulated working conditions, and limited working hours for women and children. This is a form of training regulations Messiah employees. The example for fire safety is on the second page five down. Employees must take this training to ensure safety to all. This training has a positive impact on society because it prevents many more injuries and fire spread.

We would get along better everything would be normal.  Everyone would be able to live a normal life like everyone else. This form has given society a positive impact. The law made sure that schools got the resources needed in order to teach. Without this law we would be short on workers because many workers come from bad places in life.
