This shows that only the government can prepare so much resources such as testing kits and disinfectants to keep the Singapore safe and clean as well as test for potential cases. This prevents saliva, mucus from landing on our face which cause spread of COVID. Hence everyone needs to play a part to prevent the spread. It is not just the government's job as the citizens are the ones affecting the covid19 cases. The government can be doing well but without the citizens cooperation, Singapore's number of covid cases will have a surge. The government also introduced the SMM, where citizens need to have at least 2 metres of social distancing. This can prevent "substances" to fly onto other people's skin. Hence with SMM, it can prevent the virus spread as research have shown that covid19 can fly from one's saliva to the other within range of 1 to 1.5m. explain: there was a use of informal language (singlish)
