According to lines 44-49 it states that life was hard for the Ancient Greek people they had to kill animals  and  farm for food.They had to look for the gods for help in their daily lives. Us in the modern day have it easy and don’t really rely on the Ancient Greek gods.

 Myths are still important today because they are an important part in Greek history stated in lines 71-73 “Myths are more then just accounts of exciting occurrences. They also told stories about such monumental events as the creation of human beings.” Without record of such events how could Greeks remember where they came from. 

Question 2
Myths were important to ancient Greeks because Greeks thought gods and goddesses were in control of everything so if you were fishing and the sea was calm then they thought a specific god was in control. Stated in lines 82-84 “The ancient Greeks also created myths to help them makes sense of natural phenomena that they could explain in no other way.” Greeks thought if something bad happened there had to be a reason so the created myths to help explain what was happing.
