This is to say he would ask a question that we did not know would relate at all and he could connect it to the lesson. This connection allowed everyone to be involved with the lesson and immersed in what we were covering.

I had a teacher in High School that was very effective. He is actually the reason that I am becoming a history teacher myself. Some of the characteristics that he had were that he was good at explaining the information that he had to teach about in a way that made us actually want to come to class and learn. Another thing was that he had a personality that made us comfortable to be there and not afraid to ask questions and start discussions.

She was very organized and always had fun ideas and different ways to arrange the desks and do in-class activities. Our book discussions in AP were always deep and enjoyable. She made us think long and hard and always challenged us to be our best with fun group projects and interesting journaling topics. I don't think anyone disliked her class.
