Through my educator interview it was stated that she likes to use the Gradual Release Model (GRR) for students support/success. The GRR is a model of instruction that systematically transfers responsibility for learning from the teacher tot he student. Although similar to the Scaffolding Model, scaffolding is a key component of the “We Do” “You Do”. GRR provides the overall structure.

Being flexible and responsive is crucial, sometimes all it takes is how you present the concept to them, something more hands on or visual is more reachable.
