my first year of school/kindergarten is important to me because it marked the beginning of my education at the school I was in. I went to private catholic schooling kindergarten through 8th grade.

Start of sports 10/2014

when I was in 3rd grade I started playing sports. I had already been playing soccer since preschool, however I started playing basketball in the winter and track in the spring this year of my life.

8th Grade Graduation 06/2020

I graduated from my middle school/elementary school in this year and it was a huge change for me because I had known my classmates for many years and now would have to leave most of them behind.

Start of High school/Cross country 08/2020

I started high school with most of my closest friends this year and it was very formative. I started cross country because my parents said I had to do a sport but I was too small to play football that fall, so I decided to try cross country. This was very formative because I made so many good friends on the team but hung out with my middle school friends during the school day. Months later I eventually left my lifelong friend group to join my new found friends because I had felt more included with them. This decision was super hard for me to make at the time and was a rough patch.

Beginning of my job 04/2021

I began my job the spring break of my freshman year, this is the job I didn’t know would continue for the next 4 years of high school and even into college. I got a job in the kitchen at the winery my mom worked for. I made friends/coworkers here that I am glad to have met and still talk to. I learned many things at this job.

Joining The Inner Circle Track Club 06/2021

I joined ICT the summer after freshman year after having tried hurdles that high school season and loving them and also being alright at them. I didn’t want to join the club at first because I was hesitant I would like it, however to this day it was the best decision of my life. I made friends that I would now call my best friends for life and became a much more outgoing person because of the community this club had. ICT also gave me the ability to work hard for the things I want to achieve, such as getting better at the hurdles and being able to commit to a Division 1 program for track & field.

High School Graduation 05/2024

Graduating high school was a very exciting Ang nerve racking event in my life. I had just found myself in a new relationship, all my friends were leaving the state for college, and I was off to run track for the college I now attend, being PSU. I tried making the most of my summer with my best friends while also trying to work a lot to make money for college.
