- I really liked the idea of "wait time 2" - from the wait time with technology article. I think it will lead to better conversation among peers . I also liked the idea of student portfolios. This will take some more brainstorming and research on my end - but something to look into for next year.

- At home I need to be more mindful of not doing for my daughter what she can do on her own. Sometimes when we are in a hurry I throw this out the window (putting shoes on for example).

- This course overall, has helped me reflect on my actions and response to challenging situations. I think it has helped to take a deeper look into myself and where I am on my growth mindset journey. It has also helped me look at challenges and frustrations differently. I think taking this class has been positive for myself, my daughter/family/as well as my interactions with students as we navigate lots of challenges in our lives together.

I found the suggestions about wait time very useful. I also found the idea of not directing questions to a particular students very useful for students. I believe that continuing to develop a growth mindset will only make me more open to hearing what others have to say and will improve my relationships with others.

I found the concept of being mindful of wait time in relation to the use of technology very helpful and will share that with my staff. The students with visual impairments at my school use technology every day to access their classes and the world around them. It is easy to forget that even though they have the technology to help them and it allows them to access materials and resources quicker, they still require wait time to process.

Be mindful of the learning process and not be in such a hurry to cover material. Allow and encourage students to share their thinking and how they came up with their answers. Give students plenty of wait time to come up with a deeper response to the question asked. Also wait after a question has been answered to allow the students to share any additional thoughts and allow others to process the answer in comparison to their and evaluate their thinking. Embrace and encourage the struggle as something to be celebrated.
