- the way the book is formatted can get confusing, hard to tell who is talking at times
- Foreshadowing:
The book the very different form a traditional book, it’s a graphic novel. The authors use this unique style to convey their story in a different manner more like a TV Show. Often they will show a picture, or an event through a series of pictures at the beginning or end of the chapter to foreshadow either what happens in the chapter or what will happen in in a future chapter. For example, pages 12-17.

- We have discussed that we have not yet hit the climax however the biggest event was when they changed their mind regarding saving earth. 
- Jon felt that Laurie was someone he loved and when she left he lost what he loved about earth and felt disconnected from it.

Also, the fact that’s it’s a graphic novel makes reading more fun and interesting rather than just reading words and having to imagine what is happening. 
A major theme so far is that there is that there is evil in everything and flaws in even super heros. They all have their  own selfish intentions in a way. Our society is filled with evil.
