In my opinion i think that gender role expectations haven't change that much. It haven't change because the U.S society has established that masculine roles are usually associated with strength, aggression and dominance. Femenine roles are associated with passivity nurturing and subordination. Parents still teaching their children that color blue is for boys and pink for girls by dressing them with these colors.Boys recived toys like cars, superheros,gun toys to let them know that their boys and have to be aggresives and strong. Besides girls recieve dolls,makeup, and kitchen toys this means that since little parents are teaching them what is going to be their role about. In some cases men get payed more than women by doing exactly the same job. Men are considerated smarter that women as an example in the U.S hasn't been a female precident because the U.S society think that we are not smart and strong enough to lead a country.Women are concidered emotional, sensitive and easy to cry. Men are considered to have strong feelings and tend to not easily to cry. Also, stereotypes say that women are physically weak. And Men are muscular and for many jobs women are not qualified to work. They do not qualify because men think that women can not hand a physical labor

To eliminate gender stereotypes we should take into account languages, laws, mentallity and belief of the people, justice systems,media, and the education. We should help and convince women ti enroll into traditionally male-dominated fields of education and professions like the armed forces,pilots,sciences, and engineering fields etc. There should be a strong penalty against domestic violence and sexual harassment and should change the perceeption of what masculinity means. Shared domestic responsabilities between men and women. In order to maintain the progress we have made, we have to continue and enhance educating men and women form a very young as to the root of feminist.

In the article " I want a wife" Judy Brady said that she would like to have a wife, she said that because according to her and based on her experiences she said that a wife is to take care of the children, duties at home, be a good cook, satisfy her husband socially and sexually. This shows that women have no value and our only purpose is to take care of our children and satisfy our husbands. The study "It does not pay to be a woman" said that women's products cost 42% more most of the time while men are hit with a higher bill only 18% more most of the time, this is showing that women don't have the same equality as men. The article "The sexual politics of sickness" said that as a middle and upper class in 1800s women's were diagnosed with "dyspepsia", as they observed poor women didn't suffer from this disease, this disease make rich women delicate weak and to be completely dependent of her husband this article shows that since the late 1800s rich women were in change of creating stereotypes.

1.My boss is a women and in a male figure role. She is the head of maintenance deparment and she does a good job
