She first got popular and known in 2003 while being a finalist on Nashville Star. She didn't win but that did not discourage her, she was even happy to lose saying it was way too stressful for her. Her first hit however was the album kerosene in 2005 but the songs didn't make much of an impression on country radio. After a while it found the right audience, (young women) who love Miranda's self determination and “wanted revenge” after breakups. She was married to Blake Shelton from 2011–2015 and then 3 years later got married to Brendan McLoughlin. At the start of Miranda's career people tried to dress her in a way she didn't want to be dressed and they tried to make her change her “sound”. She didn't want that and she knew that it was wrong from a young age. Growing up, singers like Tammy Wynette and Allison Moorer inspired Miranda Lambert to follow her dreams of being a singer. As she got older Miranda got into business and now has her own clothing line called Idyllwind, a brand of wine and she owns the Pink Pistol Boutique in her hometown.

Miranda just turned 40 last month. She is living in a multi-million dollar Tennessee home around Primm Springs roughly an hour from Nashville. It has 400 acres of land. She is currently touring around the US and has 9 upcoming concerts. Lambert and her mom Bev started a non profit organization called Muttnation to get more shelter pets adopted to show how good things happen when pets are taken care of. Muttnation helps move animals during natural disasters. They not only make sure they find good homes but also that they are taken care of. They also donate money to shelters to help them get the supplies they need. She is showing everyone that all living things deserve to live, have a good home and be taken care of. I think it will influence people for years to come.
