This excerpt, for me, really put in words what it means to tell or write a good story. This evoked the feeling of realization the most for me I think. I've been stuck on what story to write about for my college essay. The way that this passage was written made me realize it's not the story that matters, it's my personal views and how passionate I am about things that I'm involved in. The part of this excerpt that interested me the most was when the author said "It doesn't' interest me if the story you are telling is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself". This reached out to me the most because it pointed out that it doesn't matter the story I tell but it matters how I tell it and what it says about me.

This excerpt evokes a feeling of empowerment. It makes me want to be something of myself and see what my strengths in life are. "It doesn't interest me in how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive" is my personal favorite line, and it's something about risking yourself to look like a fool that particularly reach out to me. You can't take life too serious, you have to take risks and not care about what other's think when it comes to your decisions in life.

This excerpt made me think a lot. It made me think of the important things in life and what I am truly passionate about. it made me realize the things I am passion about are my main interests." I want to know if you can see beauty even when it’s not pretty, every day,
and if you can source your own life from its presence." this was my favorite quote of the passage I really enjoyed the message behind it

This passage make me feel like I can do anything in the world. It makes you ask yourself if you would be willing to risk it all. It makes you question your deepest parts of your deepest parts of your soul to see if you would risk it all. It makes you wonder in awe of the writing that can only be defined as godly and poetic on a whole other level. My favorite passage is "I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon,"Yes!" because it makes you question if you can get back up.
