In this chapter, Salva, now a young man, strong and tall, heard that his father was still alive! He and his new American family searched clinic after clinic, place after place. Salva is at his father's hospital, and he has just found out that his mother, his sisters, and one out of three brothers is alive. That is a happy news, but the youngest brother Salva was always protective of did not make it. Neither did his older brother. His younger brother should be in his twenties by now, but Salva always thought him as a cute 7 year old happy young boy. That makes me feel so sad for him, and I think Salva is really tough.
