         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1-Aim:</strong><br>The effect of acids and alkaline solutions on litmus paper.<br>2-<strong>Equipment and substances:<br></strong>-5 jars<strong>.</strong><br>-litmus PH test strips.<br>-Vinegar.<br>-amount of tap water .<br>-amount of filtered water.<br>-salty solution.<br>3- <strong>Hypothesis:</strong><br>Acidic solutions turns the litmus paper into blue,alkaline solutions turns it into blue.<br>4<strong>-Method:</strong><br>Vinegar was poured in the first jar,the tap water was poured in the second jar,filter water was was poured in the third jar,salt and water were poured in the fourth jar,and baking soda and water were poured in the last jar.<br>finally,litmus papers were inserted in each jar.<br>5- <strong>Observation:</strong><br>most of acidic solutions turns litmus paper into red.<br>,but most of alkaline solutions turns it into blue.<br>6-<strong>Conclusion</strong>: Acidic solution turns litmus paper into red .while ,the alkaline solution turns it into blue.<br>finally,tap water and filter water andsalty solution have natural effects don't change the litmus paper.</div>]]></description>
