She established that she is from Sierra Leone, Barbados and she spent a lot of time in The Netherlands.

Parents told her: "You cannot get into trouble because you would not be treated the same way as other students."

"I held onto to that and I really watched my actions."

"I always tried to make sure that I didn't do the wrong thing basically."

"And to this point, to this day, Zwarte Piet is still being debated as to whether he should be part of that holiday or not and that completely boggled my mind."
