In Bhutan's land of mountains steep,

Where ancient crafts in structures keep,

I marveled at the grand abodes,

With intricate designs that history bodes.

Upon the hills, they proudly stand,

Three stories high, a testament grand,

To skills of old, in construction vast,

Echoing tales from ages past.

But most of all, what caught my gaze,

Were buildings perched on slopes ablaze,

With Bhutan's essence, they align,

A harmony with nature's design divine.

I walked by a building that reminded me of a Court of law. Behind the building was a woods that I continued walking in. I reflected on how someone who might have been tried for a crime in that building might have benefited enough from walking inthe woods to have stayed out of the Court building. Alternatively, after incarceration, a walk in the woods might have helped relieve the guilt of having committed a crime and been in prison.
