Between 1.500 BC and 400 BC, the Bronze or the Iron Age, the Celts came to England from Germany. They were warriors and farmelo and they user weapons and tools. They had fair or red hair and blue eyes. The Celtic lenguage is still present in Ireland, in Wales and in the Highlands of scotland.

THE ROMANS

In 55 BC the Romans invaded England. They were led by Julius Ceaser. The Romans built roads, forte and founded serveral towns lite London. The Emperor Hadrian had a wall built.

THE ANGLO-SAXONS

In the 5^th centurione Britain was invaded by the Germanic tribes of Angeles, Saxons and Jutes. They came from Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. They pushed the Britons towards Wales, Cornwall, Scotland and Ireland, where Celtic languages are still spoken today.

THE VIKINGS

From the 8^th century the Danes and the Vikings from Scandinavia started a progressive conquest of England. The first Vikings raids to Britain, from about AD 790 to 850, were short trips to steal treasure and Take Slaves.
