What lab skill(s) did you develop as a result of the lab or collaborative project?
This project is an example of good communication skill between partners, but not following the guidelines. Our team of three worked together well, but we didn't review the guidelines before submitting the project
● How will you continue to develop the lab skills you identified in the above question?
I have to remember to check and review my project against the guidelines. No matter how much time I spend on a project, if I don't follow the instructions I'm never going to get a good grade. However, I felt like I really worked well together with my team and collaborated well. We assigned an equal amount of work to each of us, and checked each other's progress in a helpful way.

It was my first time in a long time creating a supergraphic on paper, if ever, and it was a very different experience to doing it digitally

Although I do not prefer doing it digitally, I understand the attraction and would use the medium more for sketches and diagrams than actual supergraphics and lab reports, but I did not know that preference before

identified?

What did you learn and understand from this assessment?
I now understand the relationship between speed, distance and time, and how to quantify them as units
● What were your challenge areas, and how did you, or how will you address these
challenges?
It was just a matter of remembering the formulas, paying attention, and not messing up. These are thing that I do normally have a challenge with (mostly the second two) but I manage to stay on task and not mess up. I enjoy learning aboutthis kind of math-related science, like balancing equations, and hope to have opportunities to pursue it more in the future

What lab skill(s) did you develop as a result of the lab or collaborative project?
For this project, I really didn't commit much effort, spend any extra time, or review the instructions for the assignment. Basically, I didn't try or care that much.
● How will you continue to develop the lab skills you identified in the above question?
Due to this, I got a 74% or a C. It was really a crushing feeling for me, and I spent the rest of the day feeling really guilty and bad about it. I didn't send my teacher an email, or ask them about the grade, because I knew it was my fault. Now, looking back on it, l know that I could continue to work that hard and get those grades, and that is fine for some people, but for me, I know that I have to try my hardest on each and every, assignment, even if I feel reluctant.
● What conceptual understandings did you develop as a result of the lab skills you identified?

It was a good lesson on note-taking about a document

This will become more useful in later classes where assignments like this become more common, and in addition, note-taking is a very important skill in general throughout your life

In 7th grade, I was having a hard time turning in assignments on time, and having a schedule really helped, and helps, me as a learner. Even if it's just a basic "relax for 15 min after school, then work on science homework for 30 min" it really helps me focus, and keep on time

● What strategies will you continue to embrace, what new strategies might you develop?
