📌Etiquettes come before
seeking knowledge.
📌One of the most important struggles any intelligent person should undertake is to acquire excellent etiquette in one’s character.
📌Ibn Sīrīn رحمه الله said, “They [the scholars] would study and learn guidance in manners as they would study knowledge.”
📌 Adab in seeking Knowledge;
- Gives full attention to the teacher and focus in the class.
-greet the teacher honourably.
-finish the homework that were given at the right time.
-Pray for the teacher and don't badmouth them behind .
-Avoid distractions and unnecessary activities when teachers is in the class.
-Give the salaam when meet the teacher.
1. Have a sincere intention
For example: I am studying to help the ummah with this beneficial knowledge, to enlighten my intellectual growth and that of others with this beneficial knowledge, drawing closer to Allah as a result.

2. Study with ihsan (excellence)
-Grand intentions require grand efforts. We must strive to study to the best of our ability and
aim for excellence, not perfection.

3. Exhibit tawakkul (reliance upon Allah)
-While doing our best, we must rely upon Allah for the results. We must trust that He will make things easy for us and will grant us success.

4. Eliminate bad habits or manners
-and we must always try to stay away from sins and the routes that lead to them. Imam Shaafi’i complained to his teacher, Waqi,about his weak memory and his teacher advised him to stop committing sins.
-"knowledge is the light of Allah and Allah does not grant His light to sinners. "

5. Thank Allah
-especially when you have learned something well or have completed your study. Allah says that if we are thankful to Him, He will grant us more out of His bounty.

6. Engage in istighfaar and dhikrullah
-Ibn Taimiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“When I am confused in my understanding of an issue in religion, I forth with beseech Allah to forgive me one thousand times – maybe a little more or maybe a little less.
Then, Allah opens what was closed for me and I come to understand.”

7. Make dua' to Allah
-to help you to study with ihsan and to make things easy for you. there are many dua' you can recite, such as
-If you encounter any difficulty, supplicate:“Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja’altahu sahla, wa ‘anta taj-alul hazna idha shi’ta sahla”
meaning: O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will.

-and Supplicate to Allah to increase you in knowledge:
” Rabbi zidnee ‘ilma”, meaning “O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.”

The life of obedience (Islam) takes its birth from the seed of Iman (external conduct).
- it is a revealed religion that it is originated from prophets,revealed to prophets, revealed in the form of scripture and based on belief in the hereafter.
- Islam is to tesify on the oneness of Allah. and it means peace ,security safe ,calm and purity.
-📌Pillars of islam consists:,
*shahadah : Declaration of witness
*salah (prayer) : worships Allah by specific words and actions .
*Zakah (Poor Due) : the act of setting aside a portion of Muslim's wealth to distributed among the rightful beneficiaries which is done annually.
*Sawm (Fasting) : it means to refrain ourself during the day from lawn to sunset from eating ,drinking,sexual intercourse and other actions that may invalid the sawm with intention to perform ibadah.
*Hajj (Pilgrimage): an act of performing a pilgrimage to Makkah and the surroundings area, performing certain rituals in those places for the attainment of Allah's pleasure.

💎2)Iman: A firm belief or faith arising out of knowledge and conviction (inner belief).
-"It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in fate (qadar), both in its good and in its evil aspects."...

📌 Pillars of Iman;
1)Belief in Allah:
It is to believe that Allah is the only Creator, Sustainer, King, and Planner of everything in existence.
-{There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.}

=Qur’an Chapter 42, Verse 11

2. Belief in the Angels
-Angels are from the world of the unseen. They were created to obey the commands of Allah and they never transgress His laws or commands.

3. Belief in the Revealed Scriptures
Allah tells us about a few of the names of the scriptures in the Qur’an.

They include the Torah which was sent to Moses, the Gospel which was sent to Jesus, the Psalms (Zaboor) which was sent to David, the scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham), and the Qur’an itself which was sent to Muhammad (peace be upon them all)

4. Belief in the Messengers
-It is upon the Muslim to believe in all the messengers that were sent. Among the messengers that were sent are those that have been told to us, ones we know by name, and those that were not mentioned.
-There are 25 messengers who have been mentioned by name in the Qur’an. Allah chose the prophets and messengers as the best of examples to their nations. Allah bestowed upon them knowledge, understanding, guidance, miracles, protection from falling into sin, and honour.

-{They are those whom Allah had guided. So follow their guidance.}
Qur'an - Chapter 6, Verse 90

5. Belief in the Last Day
The Day of Judgment is the day when Allah judges mankind for their deeds. Every human being will be resurrected from their graves and will be given their book of deeds – both good and bad. They will regret the sins they committed as well as the good deeds they had missed.

-(Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds).
Qur'an - Chapter 82, Verse 5

6. Belief in Divine Decree (Al-Qadar)
Al-Qadar is what Allah decrees for every single creation based on what has preceded in terms of His Knowledge and in accordance with His Wisdom. Belief in this pillar is to believe that everything that happens, good or bad, happens only according to Allah’s divine decree.

💕Iman is actually two things :
-Iman is on your tongue: can be heard and can be judged.
-Iman is in your heart: cannot be herd and cannot be judged.

-sometimes what comes out of my tongue is not connected with my heart and sometimes what comes out of my tongue is connected with my heart.

- What's on the tongue ,what word is used , when man took Shahada he became Muslim because he used his tongue.
-Islam is something you and I can judge ,Iman movement is something you and I can judge or not judge, why ??because where is he man inside the heart you would be so far okay now understand this
-Islam either you have it or you don't ,there's no in between. you're Muslim .
-Iman is not like that ,Iman you can think of it likes; it fills up your heart and sometimes it's like water inside a container, that sometimes it's full,sometimes it's empty ,sometimes it's almost gone, sometimes it's just drops left, sometimes it replenishes sometimes the water gets a little dirty you have to clean it up.
-Allah increased it, the more good deeds you do the more the heart fills with Iman, the less good deeds you do, the heart starts getting rid of Iman and starts losing it, it starts dripping out it's not something you can keep
- Iman lies inside the heart ,it never stays stationary you have to keep filling it up and it keeps going out and you have to fill it more and more to increase it.
