I have an Undergraduate degree in Psychology and loved taking research based classes. I decided to go back to school for my Masters after realizing my passion for teaching. I practice self-care a lot and feel as though everyone should realize this need. I garden, paint, cook, read, and try to make it to the beach as often as possible. These are my favorite hobbies and I continue to practice them even when busy. I accepted a job at Mercy School for Special Learning as a teachers aid. I hope to one day become a teacher and have my own classroom. I am enrolled in the PreK-4 Masters with certification. My biggest professional goal however, is to teach children usable coping skills. I feel as though this is a major skill that is not always taught.
