Ingredients

This recipe is for four people so we need:

·         8 guineos. 

·         One pound of cheese.

·         One liter of water.

·         A half a stick of butter.

·         One spoonful of salt.

 

Process to prepare: 

1.   Pell of the guineos, then put one liter of water in a pot and add the guineos and one spoonful of salt.

2.   Next, put the pot on the stove over high heat and let them cook about half an hour.

3.   To know if the guineos are already cooked, insert a fork into them, if it enters easily this means that they are ready.

4.   After that, put away de pot from the stove. Then remove the water from the pot and crush the guineos with a fork to create a homogeneous mass.

5.   So, add a half a stick of butter and mix very well to get the mote.

6.   To finish, grate the cheese and put it on top of the mote. Serve it hot and enjoy it.
