The documentary is about a man called Rodrigez who started making music, he was living in the US that's why he didn't realize he was famous in South Africa.

The main characters are: Stephen Segerman, Jerome Ferreti and Willem Möller.

We think that is a very interesting film because it is strange to be famous and at the same time having no idea you are.

We recommend this film at least you are interested in music because it looks more like a documentary than a film. It was definitely a brilliant and marvelous film to see in class.

The main character is Sixto Rodríguez, who was a detroid-base musician from the 1970s.

The documentary film follows the efforts of two South African fans who set out to discover what happened to Rodríguez who disappeared from the Music scene without a trace.

Besides there are More characters that appears in the in it like Stephen Segerman: a South African music fan who became obsessed with Rodríguez's Music. Craig Bartholomew Estrytom: another fan who helped Segerman in his search. Malik bendjelloul who appears on camera to discuss his experiences making the documentary.

We think it's a very interesting documentary but however don't find it entertaining for young people.

Despite that we didn't like It, we recommend it to people who's interested in this type of documentaries.

Sugarman” is a song played by Rodríguez, a man of Michigan that spends her free time in produce music, but he also work harder in construction.

One day Stephen Segerman (sugar) talk with him to go to South Africa, because he was most famous than “Elvis Presley”.

Also in the documentary we can saw some people around him talk about haw has Rodriguez, for example Rick Emmerson.

In our opinion we think that this documentary is very interesting for now about real situantion that suprasses the fiction, and saw how and artist can move a lot of money and people with only music

We recommend this documentary because we think so entertaining and is good to all people more of 10 years old

This shows a young man whose last name is Rodríguez, he dedicated himself to singing in bars before two producers found him and gave him the opportunity to make an album, but unfortunately this album never became famous. But, in South Africa, it was considered a phenomenon. On the other hand, in the documentary, in addition to the main singer, Rodríguez, who is about the young man who thought that fame would never come to his record, but he did. We meet his daughters, and those who knew him and spoke during the documentary.

In our opinion, we found the documentary boring because of the way it was carried out, but we found the story itself to be interesting about Rodríguez's life.

In addition to recommending that film to people who are fans of documentaries and music. It could be a nice hobby for the whole family. However, we do not recommend it to those of us who do not like either of them because it can be quite boring.

The documental talks about how Rodríguez is a musician whose music failed in America and ended up being forgotten. Besides that people think he killed himself but had sucedded in Southfrica. Whoever his private life continued to be a mistery for his fans.

Basically the more importants characters are: closed people and his family

In our opinion we think is a interesting documental, because this man is an example of humblety, although he became famous, he never exposed his private life.

The movie, set in the 70's, tells the story of a man who was promised to have a grate music career but failed. He worked as a builder in Detroit most of his life, although he ran for mayor of the city on many ocasions, he also continue to write music when he could.

Somehow his music arrived to Southafrica, where he became famous because of his lyrics. He ended up doing some concerts there, yet he never chased fame nor a luxury way of living.

In our opinion this movie is amazing, as it shows that you can be making an impact even if you don't think so.

We would recomended to anyone who likes music as they will find it fantastic.

Rodríguez, who was considered a living ghost, was a rock and roll star who despite releasing two albums, he wasn't popular enough and failed in his home country, US. 

However, it was more than twenty years later that he realized the enormous fandom he had in South Africa, due to a laborious investigation of the two South Africans.

Sincerely, the experience that we lived watching the documentary was rewarding, because we get to know the hard path that he had to live to taste the fame. Even though, because we had tedious moments, we recommend it to people that have a certain age.

This drama champion the peculiar story of two Cape Town habitants, whose names are Stephen Segerman and Craig Strydom, that set out on an adventure to know more about the major artist of SudAfrica: Sixto Rodriguez, the Sugar Man. However, they discover he doesn’t live as good as they imagine in his hometown, Detroit.

Personally, we consider it’s specially interesting for the exceptionality of the case. But also, because it’s a good way to see the music industry failures and return the due recognition to Sixto.

It was definitely the most interesting documentary we’ve ever seen. That’s why we recommend it to music and mystery lovers who have patience.
