The objective of this project is to inform how COVID19 affected in a country totally different from ours. As many of us know, there have been drastic changes within our routines, the way in which the study centers had to reorganize and create new plans and tools, the commercial centers and independent commerces had to adapt to be able to move forward and not go bankrupt, we cannot go out often, there cannot be crowds, and to achieve that and other important points, people had to begin to adapt to this new way of living. Knowing what conditions other countries are in should be equally important, and this is one of the objectives of this project, to report how COVID19 is being coped within Australia, a country located on the Oceania continent, an English-speaking and with a population of 24.99 million people. In the next points we are going to present the statistics, measure implemented, how COVID19 affected economy, health, education, what the government did, and so on.

When the pandemic started, it was difficult to adapted to the new education system, both for parents, students and for teachers and education officials. It took a few weeks to the study centers to reorganize and to schools to find and implement a better way to teach the students what the teachers wanted and also to adapt to this new learning mode. But the "School-led learning" concept is not new for some Australian students and teachers. It has been said that the most difficult challenges were: The difficulty in ascertaining engagement levels of students, that teachers cannot monitor students' individual progress class by class, the parents oversight is required and its level increased, mostly in the cases of younger students, it is difficult to the teacher to support in a proper way the students, some students don't have a good connection, and so on. Difficulty with implementing school-led remote learning across the country is further complicated by differences across state and territory jurisdictions, across school sectors.

Due to the covid-19, Australian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) fell 7.0 percent in the June quarter, the largest quarterly fall on record, according to figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The Government headed by the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has implemented an economic recovery plan that prioritizes the return of Australians to work, through investment in infrastructure, the creation of new jobs, the reduction of bureaucracy, and the creation of incentives. Australia was one of the first countries to have positive management of the crisis along with New Zealand and South Korea because of the immediacy with which the isolation measures were taken.

As we mentioned in the government's measures, Australia has been one of the fastest countries to act against the Covid-19. If we talk about government responsibility, we are talking about a great job. The government has put in place appropriate measures for all people of all ages in the country. As far as social measures are concerned, the government has established Respiratory Clinics in all states for people who have symptoms of covid-19 or problems related to it. In terms of economic measures, the Government acted in a timely manner, thanks to The 2020-21 Budget, to provide economic support in response to the economic effects of the covid-19 pandemic. The Australian Government is committed to ensuring that Australia will emerge with a job-generating economy, an income-generating economy.

Australia does not have an agile health system. It was clear early in the pandemic that a rapid response would be critical. However, governments were slow to act. Federal governments in Australia, as in other parts of the industrialized world, often prioritize economic stability in the belief that welfare, so the changes needed to respond to the pandemic were antithetical and unpleasant. In response to slow government action, several community groups were established to support the vulnerable, including the elderly, the immunocompromised, and those in forced quarantine. Schools and universities were closed and education departments worked to develop processes for distance education and online learning.
the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) instituted procedures for the rapid evaluation of a range of medical devices used in the treatment of disease. These included ventilators, point-of-care testing equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Although the covid-19 has been hard for the whole planet earth, in this research we can rescue how efficient the country of Australia has been. With a wide variety of solutions to problems generated by the pandemic, this country has been able to adapt to the needs of practically all people. If we compare this with the situation in Chile, we can appreciate a great difference, Australia took measures much faster than Chile, establishing different phases that were fulfilled step by step, besides that in Australia we can see how connected the government is with the people, Here in Chile in spite of the fact that measures and security protocols are established they will never be fulfilled 100%, cases are increasing day by day, despite measures imposed by the government . We are talking about a developed country, where here in Chile we are a little far from that, there is still much to improve, although it is never too late
