I was named Zakk Angela; from Hebrew Zachariah, which means "God remembers", and Angela, pronounced as "ANGHELA" (mind you), from a movie?? That's what my parents told me. 🤷‍♀️

I consider myself a multi-faceted person--which means that I am of a lot of things! However, it does not exactly mean that I am very talented. I just like a lot of things, even those that you may not expect! 💪

We've been bff's since elementary--Today, we may not be able to chat and hang out like we usually do as Grade 12 students/ seniors, but our bond has never weakened.

Fun fact! Faye and I are currently studying here, in ADDU SHS, while Flor and Andi are back in TAGUM CITY NHS.

I am the first-ever "Most Outstanding Campus Journalist of Ateneo de Davao Senior" High School.

Time seems to fly so fast; In a few years, I am about to close my final chapter as an adolescent and start a new, fresh, and more challenging one. Over a decade and a half, I have garnered so much learning in academics and the real world. I also met many new people with different personalities, and went out of my comfort zone to experience new environments. Despite how I am supposed to be a mature and responsible person already, to my parents, I am still the child who loves desserts from the bottom of their heart. 

Currently, I have now surpassed the stages of infancy, preschool, and elementary. I am halfway through my development stage, and I can say that I have fully achieved each virtue. My parents have truly raised me well.

I am learning more about myself, physics, perdev, how I am such a stressed and sleep-deprived school student, how I am such a perseverant person, what my MBTI personality is (ISTJ-T), and how much I commit to things I love and am passionate about.

As I meet myself in the middle, I hope what awaits me in the future is the fruits of my harvest. My efforts and actions will have helped me to reach my goals: to live a peaceful and meaningful life, to create a positive impact on the community, and to be able to serve the people, in the medical field. Future self, I hope you are proud of your younger self.

The Personal Development subject is beneficial to me. I learned a great deal about myself and others, including my personality type, love, career, and many other aspects. Not only that, it is indeed very personal because I've related myself to several topics.

2. What were your key takeaways from the subject?

The biggest takeaway I had was learning about my MBTI and having a more structured career plan. Both traits and factors are extremely valuable to me as I take on my next step in college. I learned many things from PerDev, and I believe I will never forget it because it has become something I value.

3. What two topics were your favorites and why

My favorite topics were those related to personality and Mental Health. First, knowing one's personality is extremely important when you want to grow as a person, both for yourself and for others. By knowing what you like, dislike, need, and want, you become a person with personality, making yourself more colorful. Second, although learning about Mental Health was lengthy, I was very engaged with the topic because I care. Learning about this means being considerate of others, and I am grateful to be able to do so. With that, I am able to understand a person more and know how to engage with them.
