Some negative things about online learning is that if you are one of those people who don't like socializing with people this might make your problem worse by isolating yourself.

Online learning : Pros and Cons
Online learning can be an extremely useful tool for people who are struggling with credits: and or, can't attend class due to medical and mental health related reasons. Online learning gives strength to independent and less extroverted learners who don't require the element of socializing to learn effectively and is most efficient when used by organised and hard working individuals. Online learning allows people to focus on a single course at a time, giving a person the freedom to study and focus more on one subject at a time, which can result in better results. Often people who learn online use tools like Google, Thesaurus.com, websites for sending and receiving emails such as: Gmail, Yahoo mail, Outlook or the website provided by your school. On the other hand, online learning can disadvantage people that have friends they see at school, and find that their school is the best place to socialize, people who have a close circle of friends may be hurt by full time online learning, people who struggle to maintain a close friendship outside of school will struggle more with online learning. Sports and clubs can also play a major role in specific peoples social circle, having that taken away can take a toll on certain peoples mental health and can cause problems staying active in the persons social circle. People who struggle to use computers and technology in general may also struggle with the use of online learning.

1) Some positives to learning online are not only getting familiar with a computer and the internet but being able to conduct research, ask questions digitally and not have to worry about waking up extremely early to go to class, which makes learning easier. You can also take more efficient breaks while learning online because you can just get off the computer, walk for a bit and get right back on.
2) Some negatives of working online is that you lose that human interaction with the teacher and other students. However if you are less of a people person, you could see this as a positive, just depends on the way you look at the situation.
3) There are dozens of learning tools that can be accessed online such as google, safari, Firefox (etc). You can find almost anything (you'd be surprised) on the internet, you just have to know what to type in. You can google any questions that you have regarding history, English (or other courses in school) and you are likely to find information relating to the topic.

1) Some of the positives about working online is that you have control of the work that you do and accomplish during the time given, you also have peace and quiet away from other students that may not be as interested in learning as you are.
2) Some of the negatives are that since you are on your own you can't just walk up to the front of the room and ask the teacher for help instead you must email them and schedule an appointment to talk to them about a simple topic that would probably take 10 minutes to explain. Another bad thing is that since in this an independent course you must stay on the ball and not give up to soon, you need to stick with what you gotta do or else you will fall behind.
3)YouTube is a big one... If you are having troubles with something that you think isn't worth calling up a teacher you can always try searching it up on YouTube in order to get a tutorial on how to complete some of your work.

One strength of online learning is that you can work at your own pace. In a classroom you have to work at the pace that the teacher decides. However, a negative of online learning, is that some people might now have access to a device or Wi-Fi at home. This results in less work period opportunities. Some good website tools are, Google, YouTube, and or the D2L classroom.

1) Some strengths of online learning are, first of all, being able to earn credits a lot quicker and easier. Especially if you aren't overly social and don't need a classroom atmosphere with a teacher there in person to help and explain the lessons and assignments you receive.2)Some negatives would be not having a teacher or people around you to ask for help or explanations. Also, if you require a lot of social interaction and to be able to hear things as you learn them, online learning might not be what you'd want.3) In online learning, you can use websites and tools like D2L, Youtube, Google, Google Drive, and almost all of the Google platforms. Grammarly and a calculator may help you out also.

1. Some strengths of online learning specific to me are many different things. I enjoy that I am able to work at my own pace and not stress about time frames and getting things done as fast as everyone else in the class. I also really like how I still get the chance to sit down with the teacher and get a feel for everything to start off.
2. Some negatives is that there isn't always immediate assistance if you are unclear of a task and you usually have to email and wait for a reply which could be a set back.
3. Some websites I enjoy using and find very helpful when doing online school work are; Google Docs, Google Slides, Grammarly I find the most helpful when writing assignments and documents etc. I find using office 365 email is super helpful too in order to stay in touch with your teacher and his assignments.
