He contributed to society of his time along with todays society with his services of theoretical physics and the law of the photoelectric effect, and many more. As a young thinker, Einstein was highly doubted among his peers because of his lack of interest in regular school. He was misunderstood as someone who wasn't very intelligent. His self reliance on his smart mind for science and math regardless of what society said about him is what made him Einstein. He stood by his ideas and himself especially when his findings weren't accepted. Because of her superior brilliance, her character was very misunderstood. In the text, Emerson explains that even some of the greatest thinkers were misunderstood implying that their thinking was ahead of their time, not just incorrect. It was because these thinkers came out with their findings and were brave enough to stand by them that made them self reliant and accomplished. In the movie, Matilda's bravery led her to speak up for herself and get her out of her home of neglectful parents. The song reflects the ideas of the above text because both imply that regardless of misunderstandings coming from society to stand by one's self and one's own ideas
