         <description><![CDATA[<p>Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus- was a German field marshal during WWII, and is best known for commanding the sixth army in the Battle of Stalingrad, including the successful advance toward the city of Stalingrad and the attack to stop the Soviet counter-offensives during the 1942–1943 winter which failed. </p>Vasily Grigoryevich Zaytsev was a Soviet sniper and a hero of the Soviet Union during WWII. Between 10 November and 17 December 1942, during the Battle of Stalingrad, he killed 225 soldiers and officers of the Wehrmacht and other Axis armies, including 11 enemy snipers.]]></description>
