For Blessed Edmund Rice, it was a symbol of his KNOWLEDGE that God was a loving presence in his life. Edmund came to know Jesus through his own suffering and accepted the responsibility of carrying his own cross by committing his life to the raising up of the poor through education. The program matches  grade 5 and 7 students with a year 12 student. The year 12 students spends time with their buddies to teach them all about the Terrace community life. Marking the conclusion of a day, it is a religious expression the spiritual culture at Terrace and that we must abide by. Terraces culture is expressed and is nurtured by the spiritual practice of praying.

For Magee, our friendship group is St Mary of the Cross. There are countless ways in which our house currently supports St Mary's, these include the selling of Freddos during Lent, the countless working bees and the homework club which is on every Wednesday afternoon. Orange Sky aims to give homeless people the dignity of clean clothes, and in collaboration with other agencies, assist them to get back on their feet and into housing. There is also a plan to provide part-time employment through work with the service. These old boys were heavily involved  in terrace programs such as Big Brekky. They loved helping out the less fortunate, and through the Terrace programs, wanted to make a change.
