PDMS to create the course, users take the course in "Schoology"

Provide webinars, etc. but don't have an LMS system to provide them through. Refer grantees to Y4Y website. Don't track what they do -- this is up to the program directors. People are also participating in a conference and webinars.

We also partner with Michigan Virtual University ... I'm not sure which platform they use. It may be internally designed. Weikart also hosts a LMS with Youth Work Methods training for us. Don't know their platform either.

Has used Y4Y as a make-up option, and would nice to be able to track this formally vs trusting screenshots. People could pick from a list or pick from the Y4Y website.

Our programs are licensed for childcare. High school sites also have a certain amount of training/year they complete. So there is a need for a certain # of for-credit courses. Programs have to submit annual improvement goals, Weikart and Y4Y trainings can support these goals. Registry supports folks working on youth development credential. The credential has 10 content areas that they need training in. Most courses will hit more than one of these areas, but they decided for each Y4Y course which area was primary to simplify the tracking.

Janell query: Would SEAs ever want to assign and track TA and PD as a part of a corrective action plan from a monitoring review or as a condition of funding?

Lorraine: We wouldn't do this through the LMS, though they would have to submit to me. It's on them to submit vs us having to look for their records. Though having a transcript for them to download could facilitate this for them. | Ruth: I like this idea. I have a small staff. Seems like an additional layer of support and documentation | WaTanya: I like the idea, but hard to imagine how to manage with the number of grantees vs staff.

Our grantees like a variety. PA is a large state, so we try to limit the amount of in-person. SEAs travel themselves to minimize others' travel. Do mostly virtual training, mostly webinars. Not sure whether people are accessing on mobile.

The students in CTE are looking to be able to do courses on mobile, and their current system is not cleanly compatible with this. Younger staff need bite-size content (to compete with TikTok, etc.). Something that pulls them in (then they'll be willing to go engage with the longer content). Maybe these can be snippets from the full training vs a separate production. The appeal is more important than the learning value. Helpful to communicate the ways that the training will make their work easier.

Completion status, categorized into buckets (behavior, SEL needs, etc.). In addition to see what subgrantees are participating, what types of content they're leveraging. These buckets could potential align with something like the 10 credential content areas, just importantly bucketed so that the info isn't at a granular level.

If we knew that subgrantees are gravitating to a specific area, that can inform in-person conversations and trainings.
