After attending the first day at her new school, Unhei is excited to get home. Home is the place where she feels that she fits in and can really be herself. Her mom can tell that she is a little bit down after her day, and tells her that she needs to study hard, behave nicely, and get good grades because that is what good Korean's do. This adds more pressure to Unhei. She already feels that she is at a disadvantage in her new school because of her Korean heritage, but this just adds to her problem.

After all, they are trying their hardest to find her a name that she feels comfortable with. The experience of adapting to the United States made Unhei realize that she really wasn't at a disadvantage in her classroom.
