I believe that the key message that Denziel gave to us was ¨Dreams without goals are just wishes"and this resonated with my personality because I believe that without a plan of hard work and dedication there is not point of working. when you work towards your goals there are many setback that offered give you hardship but this is good because it will help you grow past these dilemma and achieve your true potential that being a dream or another type of goal. So in life work with intent because when you are eventful it shows dedication towards what you are trying to achieve which intern makes the information that you are trying to convey more meaningful.

His story exemplify the importance of resilience in in overcoming obstacles and achieving success by teaching us that dream with out goals are just dreams which are wishes. This opened my eyes because if I want to achieve a goal I must over come hard obstacles in my life and I must fail to achieve these dreams because after every failed experiement i am one step closer to success because I fail and learn from them. No matter what you have to fail some point in your life and sometimes it is a hard mental block that sometimes you can bget over but eventually you must learn to leave that in the past and fall forward.

Denzel encourages the viewers so create a positive mindset by reminding them that success doesn’t come without struggle or working for it. He talks about staying disciplined, keeping your faith, and not giving up even when things get hard. He tells people to focus on gratitude and hard work instead of complaining about what they don’t have. his attitude helps build a strong emotional foundation that teaches people to see challenges as opportunities to grow. he said failure is just a lesson and not the end, stay motivated and keep going.

The key messages that Denzel was saying was to take risks, though outside the box, be open to new ideas. I do think all of these are really important as taking risks is needed to move forward in your life. I also think thinking outside the box is important because you need to overlook the "basic" ideas and think further than the superficial things. My personal favorite and the move I wrote the most with would be open to new ideas. I think being able to be open to new ideas is super important as you need to see the world through other people's eyes. (105 words)

Denziel Washington talks about failure and how to succeed through failure. He says to embrace failure and not to be afraid when you fall. He tells us to fall forward so you know where you are going to end up and you know how to get back up and improve from your failures. This resonated with me because I failed in math multiple times, but now I know what I need to do in order to succeed in math, Math was a struggle for me, but after failing, I improved on my work and I began to succeed, which is why failure is an important aspect in my life.

"If you're not failing, are you even trying?" This quote resonates with me personally, because without failing how are you going to learn? Learning leads you to success, and helps you along your path. Failing always motivates me to keep going, and after failure and after failure I know I will make it out. I believe your journey is always filled with failure and bumps in the road, but it never means it's the end. Don't waste your potential and just because you failed. Push yourself to success, or else you're always going to stay at where you're at. Don't take the easy way out. (105)

He went so down in his life that he was getting kicked out of college for having a 1.8 GPA. His story emphasizes resilience because he never gave up and kept on pushing forward to accomplish what he really wanted. I believe that his speech was very motivational and it has made me think of the ghosts that will haunt me once I reach my end about all the potential I missed in life. (108)

It changes the mindset on knowing you're just on the path to success and how life is not supposed to be easy. We learn from mistakes and grow and it helps us achieve a better mindset in the future. It helped me understand if I want something to happen I have to do it so I don't make regrets about not doing something. People fail over and over again but people are going to look at you when you succeed not how many mistakes and failures you have. (118)

His story exemplifies the importance of resilience in overcoming obstacles and achieving access through repetition and relating himself to his audience. Denzel Washington repeats the phrase "fall forward" to emphasize the importance of continuing to move forward and to never look back. Keep moving forward, no matter what it takes. His story of how he switched from pre-med to law to journalism, and finishing a year with a 1.8 GPA, shows the rough path he has overcome. He exemplifies the importance by describing your wasted talents and potential as "ghosts". These "ghosts" will stand by your deathbed as you take your last breath. They are your regrets that you will leave behind, and so it is important to overcome your fear of failure and unlock your potential.

word count - 127

And now he is speaking to millions and inspiring many. Denzel's story shows to never give up and even if you fail and fall, fall forward. Denzel is a prime example of someone who never gave up and became successful.

Some of the key motivational messages that Denzel Washington goes through is being able to fall forward that to fall back on something this resonates with me because if you have something to fall back on while you are already planing to give up when you fail but if you fall foward then you are able to get back stronger and learn what you can do you better when trying to achieve a goal. One example is me trying to get back after my injury i could have found an easier sport to fall back on but i didn’t becuase I want to be able to get back to what i love instead of fear of losing (117)

One area where people can raise their standards is how they approach their goals. Instead of saying “good enough,” we should push ourselves to give our best effort in school and relationships. Raising your standards might mean studying more consistently and treating others with more respect. It’s also about setting boundaries and not allowing negative people to control our actions. When we expect more from ourselves, we grow into better and stronger people who are prepared for challenges.

His story exemplifies the importance of resilience and overcoming obstacles and achieving success because when he started off college he constantly switched majors and had a terrible time focusing, he also had a 1.8 GPA. His school even encouraged him to take a break because he was doing so bad. He failed countless times but chose to rise above and keep trying to build himself up instead of choosing to fail. He stayed consistent with his goals and despite constantly failing he kept at it and eventually succeeded. Once he had success nobody thought of his failures, and that goes to show with determination and not living in the past, you could still succeed. (115)

The key message that Denzel emphasizes in the video is not to fall backward, but to fall forward. If you fall backward, you will not know where you are going to end up at. You will not have control over what happens next and will feel lost. On the other hand, if you fall forward then you can see where you are going. Even though you are still “falling,” you can clearly see where you will end up at. I can relate because last year in math 2, I was failing. I knew I was failing and instead of falling backward and giving up, I studied harder and did all my work and ended the class with a B after the finals.

Failing is something important that everyone has to go through to get to a final destination. because as he also said that the path on the way to success with never be straight it will always have its ups and downs. but that should never stop you from getting to where you want to be. dreaming big and having goals is an important part to success. and getting there or achieving these goals will never be easy and that is something that's okay because its the natural course of life.

I think that this is very important in life because you will never progress without taking risks. This message resonates with me personally because I have failed a bunch of times and I think that taking risks is part of life so I always try on stuff that I know I am not good at so I can keep on moving forward and learn from my mistakes. I am going to do this exact thing on wednesday by taking the PSAT and going in blindly with barely knowing what it's on so I will learn from my mistakes for the actual SAT. (118)

Denzel Washington emphasizes a lot of motivational messages in this video. One key message that he emphasizes is "Nothing in life is worth while unless you take risks." This message means you wont live up to your fullest potential unless you take risks in life. You wont ever know if something is true until you experiment it and find an actual answer. This message correlates to my personality because I realized I couldn't take the easy path when picking classes in high school. So when I realized I should take risks when picking classes I picked a more rigorous course. 100 words.

Dreams are a big part of this video because they are people's end goal that they wish to achieve. However, if you do not create a goal for your dreams, how can you work to achieve it? This resonates with me personally because I have a lot of dreams, and I wish to be the best person I could be. Despite these things, he still kept going. Without failing, how are you going to learn? His experience perfectly shows the example of great resilience. Even when he reached his lowest point of his life, he never gave up. These obstacles lead him to achieving the success he has today. Failing was a learning experience for him, and he didn't take that for granted. Even when it wasn't a straight path for him, he wasn't afraid of finding different routes for himself. He then 30 years later, got an audition for the same theater that rejected him. This shows the dedication and unwavering fear of failure. (130)

The reason behind this is that when you fall forward, you can see what you're falling towards, whereas falling back is no progression. He mentions taking risks and that your life is not fulfilled if you take no risks because you're limited to what you're comfortable with, and you should expand that and not be afraid to fail. You have to do things you're not used to to progress and advance in life, or else you'll live with a bunch of ghosts of what you could accomplish. Word count 105

An audience that I think he can mostly encourage is the younger teens and just younger people in general. I think this because in the video he quotes that "younger people are full of potential" also with this he also said that if you are full of potential to use it to your fullest and try many things because you never know what can lead you to your future. This should be encouraging younger people because they should take all the opportunities that they get offered because trying anything and trying new things can lead someone to a beautiful path, as well it can lead someone through a rough path but a path that they needed to go through to succeed in the future.

A key motivation message I got from the video was to live your life with no regrets. Everyone has potential no matter what and don't waste that potential because you're scared. A quote I found motivational was when he said “You hang around the barber shop sooner or later you're going to get a haircut”. This quote is basically trying to say if you try your going to get somewhere eventually. Trying is really important if you don't, you're going to regret it and nothing bad is going to happen from trying. Dream big and fail big is also something I found motivation. With big dreams often comes big failures at first. Everything happens for a reason so don't be down if you don't get something right away. (128)

Some are drastic one for example raising your standards in a relationship or a sport, you want to be treated with respect by your person so you have to address the standard that must be met. On the other hand sport wise see what the goal is and how you can build up to it by holding a standard for yourself. Standards are used in our daily life all the time. This feeling can be overwhelming especially if you go into overtime exerting all you have into the match, No matter the results I’ve learned to keep my head up through these challenges. This is as he explains that at his lowest point when he had a 1.8 GPA he never gave up he kept going and doing what he had to do in order to be and do better for himself. When he says this it relates to me a lot because I have been told this many times by my parents and my coaches. They are always saying that mistakes will happen because nobody is perfect. You have to fail to succeed in life and by not wanting to try anything new you will not get out of your comfort zone. Every failed experiment is a step closer to success. (106)

This story exemplifies the importance of resilience in overcoming obstacles and achieving success by showing us his hard work and the obstacles he had to overcome to make it this far in life. Denziel had a 1.8 GPA when he was 20 years old. He said that this was the lowest point in his life and he needed to change it. He transferred through many majors and classes and found the one he wanted to make him be the best he can be. There was also a time where he said he tried out for an audition and he didn’t make the cut many times but he still kept going back and tried over and over again. This shows that he never gave up to achieve the goals he wants. (131)

Denzel encourages viewers to have a more positive and developed mindset by shining light on the fact that failing is inevitable, and it is okay to make mistakes.

He says how Thomas Edison made 100 inventions that failed before the light bulb. He never gave up, and thankfully, he did not, since now today we have the light bulb. This helps the views and me to realize that failing should be seen as motivation, and giving up will not get you anywhere. I also like how he says we need to “fall forward” and not backward as a way to make failing seem less scary.

Denzel emphasizes the concept of falling forward. He utilizes the rhetorical device of repetition to emphasize his point. He showcases that having something to fall back on is wrong and unimportant. Falling forward keeps your head up and shows what you are falling on, then you can push yourself up and keep on pushing. I personally agree with the concept because it depicts life by emphasizing that you will fall, but it's your choice to get back up. I applied for some leadership positions, and unfortunately, I failed and didn't get it. That doesn't stop me from being a leader because I still can influence positivity. I don't need a title to impact others and promote effort.

Maintaining a mindset of pushing past pain and failure to pursue your dreams. I really admired the statement that ¨dreams without Goals are just dreams¨ because it promotes an encouraging message of making your dreams a reality. Without pursuing your goals, your dreams will have zero impact on your life. Utilizing a high standard is important because without pushing, no change will occur. The video explains that everyone will fall at some point in their but if they fall forward, keeping their head high, letting you see the road ahead. If you fall back, you maintain a mindset of allowing yourself to fail and take a different direction without pushing forward.

In our Monday Motivator Denzel Washington encourages viewers to cultivate a positive mindset and develop emotional resilience in the face of challenges. He does this by talking about the important of hard work. He emphasizes that failure is the result of hard work. This is because if you don't fail did you really succeed. This can shift your mind because you can now see failure as a lesson and take that lesson and put it back into you work. He also says that life will never be a straight path. This gives listeners relief as now they can accept that not everything is going to be perfect. (107)

A key motivational message that Denziel emphasized throughout the video was believing in yourself and never giving up. He says that dreams are just wishes if you don't work hard to make them real. Denzel also explains that failure is part of success because it teaches you to keep trying and not give up on yourself. This message means a lot to me because sometimes I donut myself when things get hard, but his words remind me to stay focused and keep working. It helps me remember that success takes time, effort, and faith, and that every mistake helps me get better. (102)

Denzel Washington's story shows the importance of resilience because he faced many failures before he became successful. He didn't always get the roles he wanted and was told “no” many times, but he never gave up. Instead, he kept working hard and believed in himself. Denzel explains that failure is part of the journey and that every mistake helps you grow stronger. His story proves that success doesn't come easy and it takes patience and determination. This inspires me to stay positive and keep pushing forward even when things don't go my way.

I think the most motivational message that Denziel was emphasizing was "Dreams without goals are just dreams". This message stood out to me personally because of the strong message and the big meaning behind it. If you put yourself to achieve your goals, you will succeed, but if you keep dreaming and dreaming waiting for it to happen without trying, the dreams won't come true. This message should stand out to everyone with big goals and everyone should always have big goals for themselves to keep them moving. Goals should be important to everyone whether it is small or big, a small goal to you could be someone's biggest achievement. (110)

He states in his video that "if you haven't failed in something, you aren't even trying". This is pushing us as an audience that we should never be afraid of failure and to overcome failure. He also states in the video that "everyone has the talent to succeed but do you have the guts to fail" which really shows how to overcome your obstacles in a way to achieving success.

Denzel Washington's story helps exemplify the importance of resilience in overcoming obstacles and achieving success because he talks about how he didn’t get a part in a broadway play for his first part because he couldn’t sing, but he was able to overcome this obstacle eventually and he got a part in a play at the same theater years later. This is inspirational because it tells the story of determination and resilience towards achieving your dreams and meeting your potential. Through Denzel Washington’s story I was able to grasp the true importance of resilience and overcoming obstacles and now I believe that I can achieve greatness like he did. (109)
