I live in Solano County- Fairfield. I love living in Northern California and just wished it wasn't so expensive to live. I live in Crescent City, CA. This little town is only a half hour south of Brookings Oregon, so we are right on the border of California and Oregon. We get a lot of rain and wind here, during the winter, so it can be a challenge at times staying dry. I am currently working as a Social Worker Assistant for Mendocino County. I have three cats. I live in Ventura County more specifically near Oxnard, Ca. As much as I complain about wanting to travel or move; I love it here. There's always something going on, both good and bad. I do see this city and surrounding cities being a place where I can help and offer continuous support to various populations. The one thing I would like to change is the unpredictable weather; that can be annoying at times. I prefer the cold and rain.

He is one of the reasons, I chose Social Work, as my major and career choice. It was good to see you all at our intensive. So a little about where I live. Well, I live in San Pedro, CA which is basically the port of LA. It's a coastal city and I've lived in the south bay all my life. I definitely enjoy going up to Humboldt though, because our air, due to the ports and refineries, is so polluted. Generally when you would see me romping around town I would have a ukulele in hand. I like to walk through the trees when I feel that life is too much. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and that every story is just as valuable as the last. I am sad that our currency is what motivates our society. My animals are what give me hope in this world, since animals are the truest form of innocence. I hope that if I am ever blessed with the task of being a parent to anyone, that everything I have learned and will continue to learn will prepare me.
