Department time to gather sample student work (from grades 7-12) that all Department teachers can access (especially for essay writing). Having these samples available would provide consistency! -Megan

I'm hoping we will have the autonomy to decide how to best use this time, rather than being assigned activities or tasks that may not reflect our actual needs. Perhaps individual teachers or departments could determine, at the beginning of each month, how to structure our collaborative time for the upcoming weeks.

Coordination around ISPs and how we can best support our students. This should ideally be done at the start of each semester, especially for Grade 7, where early planning can have the most impact.

Using some time to discuss solutions to problem students/classroom management. Seeing what other teachers do with that one student you have a hard time with would be very useful.
