The arctic, North and South pole are very important to a global health. The arctic supports the ocean in health by providing an abundance of nutrients and support krill. Krill are extremely important because the support most marine life and that goes for the arctic as well. Humans have a large effect on the shrinking ice of the north pole, which has negative effect on walrus and polar bear populations. The south pole is not in too bad of shape but the food sources are dropping in the south pole.
