These strategies range from teaching students to analyze a text like a writer to imitating the craft and structure of a specific author. All really cool stuff that comes from the recommended book, A Teacher's Guide to Mentor Texts by Allison Marchetti. I look forward to using some of those strategies in my classroom this upcoming year.
