gun control works in other countries just fine and there are way less school shootings, etc. than in the US, where guns are easily obtained
gun control doesn't necessarily mean gun ban, a lot of people just want stricter regulations for example better background checks
guns are very expensive, that money could be used for better things
there are people that accidentally killed others, if they hadn't had access to these guns, it wouldn't have happened

Guns would still be available, just illegally, that would mean, that criminals still can aqquire guns while old men, that want to secure themselves can‘t. most of the population already has a gun, so gun control is not possible, because there is no way to check every person if they have a gun or not.
