Voiceover/Script: Uh, oh! Explorer, there is a Summary Troll that is guarding your next text path. Create a summary about the last text you read to defeat the Summary Troll. Make sure to include the main idea and key details to really damage that troll! Good luck!

Navigation Info: Once the troll is defeated, the player is automatically moved to the next level.

Level 2: The Cave of Details (6)

Voiceover/Script: Amazing job defeating the Summary Troll, Explorer! We are at our next stop, The Cave of Details! There is a passage to read before we go into The Cave of Details. Once you read it, go into the cave and hunt for supporting details. Click on the supporting details you find to create a summary list. Tip: The more supporting details you find will create more light, while you are in the cave.

Navigation Information: Once the player has found six supporting details, the game will automatically move them to the puzzle.

Challenge: Puzzle Path (7)

Voiceover/Script: You're almost out of the Cave of Details, but there is a door with a puzzle on it. It looks like it is a summary of the passage at the beginning of the cave! Quick! Read the puzzle pieces and rearrange them to make an accurate summary.

Navigation Info: Once the summary is accurately placed, there will be an animation of the doors opening and will transition the player to Mount Saint Summary.

Level 3: Mount Saint Summary (8)

Voiceover/Script: Congratulations, Explorer! You have escaped The Cave of Details and solved the puzzle on the door. Now, for your final task, climb Mount Saint Summary! Read this new passage before climbing. To climb to the summit, you must choose the correct summary choices based on the main idea and supporting details. Good luck!

Navigation Info: After reading the passage, players will select a summary choice which will move them up the mountain towards more summary choices. Once they have answered ten summary choices correctly, the Bonus Round will automatically pop up.

Bonus Round: Speedy Summary (9)

Voiceover/Script: It's time for a Bonus Round! Summarize as many passages as you can within the time limit. You will climb Mount Saint Summary faster, earn bonus points, and score on the leaderboard based on accuracy.
