While my extroverted personality is not use to being still and in one place all day, it has been an incredible time to grow in my relationship with God and be blessed by and appreciate more everything He has given me. A life full of authentic joy, courage, love and peace! I have been looking back at this year and have so many pictures but just wanted to share with everyone 3. Because more than that would just take up a ton of space. The first is my fall break overnight hike on the Appalachian with my friend, where we were very ill prepared, somehow made it through, the 2nd is a picture from what was suppose to be my senior year of lacrosse. God works even in the midst of uncertainty and I was blessed with the opportunity to play again next year. Finally, the church and my "church moms" Tanya and Sandy. They keep me straight while I'm not close to my parents and for anyone that knows me knows I need it. So please share what on everyones hearts! I am so looking forward to meeting together again!  I'm using this book for my quiet time with God.  Yesterday I finished the Daniel study by Beth Moore. The Monday night women's group started this study. It's so very good that I'd repeat it anytime. 
At home my husband is working remotely, our son is struggling in a major way trying to complete this semester of college, and I am revamping our garage!  What a mess!  My prayers lately are begging God for his merciful protection and for his healing of the sick and comfort the hurting.  
I play Christian radio most of the day.  The lyrics, "You take what the enemy meant for evil and you turn it for good" have been a prayer-song.  I'm looking to see how God will turn all this for his glory. We have enjoyed having all of our evenings together; it's so rare to have us all home at the same time anymore. I'm so thankful for the time we are sharing at a slower pace. Though we are grieving the loss of many "lasts" for Kara as a senior, we trust God's plans. My chemo apt. last Wed. went well, and my blood counts were perfect! Thank you, Jesus! I'm enjoying extra time in the kitchen cooking, and Anna made us a beautiful cross for the front yard. I just changed the cloth from purple to black. It is Friday, but Sunday is coming! We miss being in the sanctuary together, but we know the Church is much greater than a building. I have been grounded from travel for almost a month now from my job, I usually fly out on Monday and back home on Friday as an Store Standards Manager with Walmart training Academies. My time the last 4 weeks has been rewarding and scary at times working in the stores assisting were needed or at home manning calls for our Emergency Operations Center across the country. Which let me tell you has been extremely hard at times taking calls from associates who have contracted the virus themselves or have lost a loved one from the virus. The calls out of New York have been heartbreaking. I pray everyday before work at work and when I get home and just turn it all over to God, because he is the Devine healer. It speaks volumes to me about what our faith walk is all about. I miss my job, but it gave me no more excuses to put off the painting and small repairs I've been putting off for a long time now. I've been blaming my laziness on menopause, lol. I've also been doing a lot of walking with my daughter. Painting is done, and still at least 2 more weeks to go.....what now?? One thing I am grateful for is this, I have been resenting my volunteer time at church lately. I know it's because I've been doing it forever and so many never do anything. Not now! I miss the coffee bar, I miss feeding the kids on Wednesday family night, I miss my bible study!!!! Most of all I miss church!!!!I realize I needed it to be taken away from me to once again fall in love with it again! The first Sunday back will be like a new life has begun!!!
